Sheep Ectoparasiticides  
The word 'ectoparasiticide' is commonly used to describe a group of chemicals that assist farmers manage external parasites on ruminants. 

Animal Health Alliance (Australia) Ltd is actively involved in the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) Existing Chemical Review of Sheep Ectoparasiticides.

In December 2005, the industry publication, 'Ectoparasiticde use in contemporary Australian livestock production' was launched by Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

The Alliance participated in the APVMA official release of the regulators draft diazinon review and draft sheep ectoparasiticide review during 2005 and will continue its involvement this year in the developments with both draft reports.
