Recognising the role of packaging in safe delivery of animal health products, Animal Health Alliance (Australia) Ltd has developed guidelines for container design and performance for 5-20 litre containers for liquids. The guidelines aim to assist compliance with regulations and facilitate design and performance improvements in plastic and steel containers by putting regulatory requirements and user expectations into a simple format.

The guidelines support compliance with design and performance regulations, delivery of clear labels, cleaning and rinsing for drumMUSTER and container recycling and reuse.
